Dota 2 developers have released a blog dedicated to Bali Major 2023 starting next week. Valve reminded regarding the upcoming global tournament, and also announced the first details regarding the qualifiers for The International 2023.
Valve has announced the start of the traditional sale of support club packs: you can now purchase bundles of teams participating in the Dota Pro Circuit summer season with a 75% discount.
In addition, the fantasy section has been updated – now card packs once more include only players who take part in Bali Major 2023.
It also became known that 20 teams will play at The International 2023. In addition to the top 12 DPC-ranked teams, 8 teams will be determined through regional qualifiers, the dates of which are also determined:
August 17-21 – North America and Southeast Asia (1 place each at TI12); August 22-26 – China and Eastern Europe (1 place each at TI12); August 27-31 – South America and Western Europe (2 places each at TI12).
Valve promised to provide other details regarding qualifications for The International 2023 in the coming weeks.
