Balmuda Co., Ltd.announced on the 12th that it will end the mobile terminal (smartphone) business.
The company will enter the mobile terminal business in 2021 and will launch the “BALMUDA Phone” in November. Since then, we have continued to develop terminals, but as a result of comprehensive consideration in the current business environment, we decided that we should focus on other businesses, so we will end the mobile terminal business.
The BALMUDA Phone currently in use can continue to be used as before, and can still be purchased at SoftBank shops nationwide, Balmuda stores, and online stores.
In addition, we will continue to provide after-sales service, accept repairs (until September 30, 2026 for SIM-free models), and update software until November 2023 so that customers who purchase BALMUDA Phones in the future can purchase with peace of mind. Accessories will continue to be available for purchase.
