Jaylon Ferguson has passed away at the age of 26. This was announced by the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Jaylon Ferguson,” the team said in a statement. “He was a nice, respectful young man with a big smile and an infectious personality.”
The Ravens also sent “our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends as we mourn a life lost far too soon.”
Details of Ferguson’s death are not yet known.
Ferguson was a Ravens third-round pick in the 2019 draft and has been an edge rusher in 38 games for Baltimore since then. He was used on both defense and special teams.
