Ban on e-cigarettes in closed spaces and offices

Dubai: The use of e-cigarettes has been banned in offices and closed areas in the UAE. The Ministry of Health said it had banned websites promoting e-cigarettes in collaboration with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.

* Prohibits the sale of tobacco products to children under 18 years of age and the use of tobacco in private vehicles in the presence of children under 12 years of age.

* Installation of automatic vending machines for tobacco distribution will not be allowed.

* Smoking will be banned in places of worship, educational and health centers.
