Punjab Interior Department has imposed Section 144 in Lahore and has banned public gatherings, processions and rallies.
The notification of the implementation of Section 144 has been issued, according to which the implementation of the ban will start from today, which will continue for the next 7 days. The ban was imposed in view of the poor traffic and security situation.
It should be remembered that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced to start its election campaign from today, under which a rally will be held from Zaman Park, the residence of Imran Khan in Lahore.
On the other hand, the Punjab Home Department has sent a message to the provincial president of Tehreek, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, asking the PTI leadership to ensure cooperation with the law enforcement agencies.
