Bank Al-Maghrib and SECO Sign MOU for Bilateral Assistance Program: Strengthening Central Bank Capacities in Morocco

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, Monday in Rabat, by Bank Al-Maghrib and the Swiss State Secretariat for the Economy (SECO), for the implementation of the 3rd phase of the Bilateral Assistance Program and Strengthening of Central Bank Capacities (BCC).

Signed by the Wali of Bank Al-Maghrib, Abdellatif Jouahri, and the Swiss Ambassador to Morocco, Guillaume Scheurer, the BCC Program aims to provide technical assistance to Central Banks to promote the conduct of a sound monetary policy, promote a stable and inclusive financial sector, as well as strengthening the resilience, sustainability and effectiveness of their actions, BAM said in a press release.

This program covers key areas such as monetary policy analysis and implementation, research, financial stability, financial inclusion, payment systems, operational and systemic risk management or risk management. international cooperation.
