Bank robbery in the first gameplay of Crime Boss: Rockay City – shooter with movie stars of the 90s

The network has 6 minutes of gameplay Crime Boss: Rockay City – crime first-person shooter with robberies, announced today during The Game Awards 2022.

The video shows a bank robbery mission. The heroes start on the roof, quietly eliminate the guards, pick up equipment, then zipline down, get inside, find a way to open the hatch in the roof for the helicopter, and enter the vault. At this moment, the alarm goes off and a firefight with the special forces begins. While firing back, the raiders lift two valuable statues to the extraction point, where they are tethered to a helicopter that takes the cargo. At the end, the robbers have to find a way out through the tunnels and escape on a boat.

Crime Boss: Rockay City can be played in co-op with up to four people, as shown in the demo, or solo. The game takes place in the bright and sunny Rocky City of the 1990s, where players will have to build their own criminal empire, pulling heists and taking territory from rival gangs.

To enhance the atmosphere of the nineties, the developers invited for the cast of movie stars of that era. The main character Travis Baker is played by Michael Madsenand its team of planners and facilitators includes Michael Rooker, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover and Damion Poitier. Also in the game is Danny Trejo and Vanilla Iceacting as rival gang leaders, and Chuck Norriswho became the local sheriff.

Crime Boss: Rockay City is being built by an independent team Ingame Studios with the support of 505 Games and Epic Games. First of all, the shooter will be released on PC in the Epic Games Store, where it will appear already March 28followed by a release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles later in 2023.
