Zurich: Former Netherlands winger Marc Overmars has been given a global ban by FIFA. Overmars was banned from Dutch football for two years in November last year following misbehaving with female colleagues. FIFA approved this action and banned him from international football.
Overmarcin, 50, was banned by the Dutch Football Association for misconduct while he was Ajax’s director of football. He is currently the technical director of Belgium club Royal Antwerp. He played for the Dutch team from 1993 to 2004. He has also played for clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal and Ajax.
