Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister Saad al-Shami called on Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh to “resign”, following France issued an arrest warrant once morest him as part of an investigation into fraud charges.
Al-Shami told Archyde.com, “When a person in any country is accused of such crimes, he should not remain in a position of responsibility and should step down immediately.” “I think he should resign,” he added.
