Barbara Brylska almost disrupted the shooting of “Irony of Fate”

In the middle of the work, the Polish star decided to show character.

Despite numerous trials and persuasion, Eldar Ryazanov insisted on his own and removed Barbara Brylska in the famous “Irony of Fate”. Problems arose from the very beginning.

From the first takes, it became clear that another actress would be voicing the Polish star. They chose Valentina Talyzina. The Western star could not sing either, so the voice of Alla Pugacheva sounds in the picture.

For Barbara Brylskaya, it only remained to play her role qualitatively, to follow the instructions of the director, but she could not cope with this either. Banal for any professional actress, the kiss scene displeased the star.

It turns out that the performer of the role of Nadia did not want to kiss Hippolyte, who, on the contrary, showed enthusiasm. Filming came to a standstill, I had to urgently look for a way out, make concessions.

“I told Eldar Ryazanov that I can’t kiss Yakovlev, I don’t like him. We agreed that we would shoot from the back, and I would only pretend to kiss Hippolyte. However, even though the camera was at the back, Yakovlev still strove to bite into my lips, and I resisted and pushed him away. She insisted that we only pretend to kiss. I didn’t like Yakovlev’s persistence. And as a man, he did not inspire me, ”reports the memories of the star “TVNZ”.
