For its first pre-season match, FC Barcelona faced the small club of UE Olot, a 3rd Division team. For this meeting, Xavi could still count on an attractive team on paper with Franck Kessie, Abde Ez, Aubameyang or even the young rookie Pablo Torre.
But in a not particularly exciting match, the Blaugranas were hooked by a fine team from Olot. If Aubameyang had opened the scoring in the first period, Ter Stegen’s teammates ended up conceding the equalizer just before the break on a penalty. Barça therefore begins its summer preparation with a draw.
