A few days after their rout against Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, Barça fell against Cadiz in the league on Monday.
After a soporific first period, even bordering on boredom, the visitors opened the scoring after the break. After a center from Fernandez at the far post, Sobrino will find Ter Stegen at close range, but the German goalkeeper will see Pérez take advantage of a passive Catalan defense to send the ball deep (48th), 0-1. The Andalusians will keep the score thanks to a vigilant and decisive Ledesma ahead of Dembélé, De Jong and Aubameyang (68th, 78th and 90th).
FC Barcelona falls again in front of its public and fails to secure second place in the standings. For its part, Cadiz leaves the relegation zone.
