Ansu Fati, 21, was last season on loan to Brighton. Now he is back in Barcelona, with three years left on his contract.
But there doesn’t seem to be any future in the Catalan club.
Spanish Sport writes that Barcelona has asked the 21-year-old to leave the club this summer, as the Spanish big club must save on salary costs, among other things. In addition, the club has informed the attacking play that he has no future under new coach Hansi Flick.
Fati scored four goals in 30 competitive games for Brighton last season.
For Barcelona, he has scored 29 goals and made ten appearances in 112 appearances. He has belonged to the club since 2012, and advanced to the A team in 2019.
