The Supreme Court has just announced the date for the trial of the so-called “Ndiaga Diouf” case. Thus, the current mayor of Dakar, Barthélémy Dias will be before the judge on December 22 from 10 a.m.
Indeed, the city councilor of Dakar was sentenced at first instance, then on appeal, to two years in prison, including six months for fatal assault. The decision of the Supreme Court on the 22nd will be decisive for the future of the mayor of Dakar.
