Basketball player Paul did not finish in the NBA after a rift with an unpopular referee

Paul returned to Phoenix for the first time since his summer transfer. Less than half a minute before the end of the second quarter, he got into a long discussion with Foster, following which he received the first technical. While the referee was walking away from him, the 12-time All-Star kept shouting behind him. Foster turned around and gave him a second technical foul which resulted in an immediate disqualification.

An angry Paul then had to be held away from the referee by members of the Warriors bench before the player headed to the locker room. Steve Kerr, the guest coach, also received a technical foul.

The Warriors also had to do without Draymond Green in the game, who is serving a five-game suspension for a fight in the duel with Minnesota, during which he grabbed Rudy Gobert by the neck.
