Friborg Olympic will play the Qualifying Tournament 1 of the next Champions League at the end of September, in a location yet to be determined. The team coached by Petar Aleksic will enter the competition at the semi-final stage.
Olympic will face the winner of the duel between the Macedonians of TFT Skopje and the Germans of Niners Chemnitz. If successful, the reigning Swiss champion will face the Turks of Tofas Bursa in the final or the winners of the semi-final between the Leicester Riders and the Romanians of CSO Voluntari.
The regular season will start on October 4. If he wins his qualifying tournament, Olympic will be placed in group A along with SIG Strasbourg, the Hungarians of Falco Szombathely and UCAM Murcie.
