In celebration of his 85th anniversary, DC Comics‘ most iconic character, Batman, will be recognized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The masked bat is about to make history once again by becoming the first comic book character to receive a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony would take place next Thursday, September 26 framing the celebration for the 85 years of existence of the character. His star would be number 2 thousand 790 and will be located in the 6764 Hollywood Boulevardin front of the Guinness World Records Museum, next to Adam West who played him in the 1960s and the character’s co-creator, Bob Kanebecause the creator is Bill Finger.
Jim Leethe iconic president, publisher and creative director of DC Comics will be present alongside Anne DePiessenior vice president and general manager; as well as Michael Empricthe official adjudicator of Guinness World Records to certify Batman’s historic achievement.
The character already has two records: the longest continuously published comic (Detective Comics, published from 1938 to the present) and the comic book character that has been adapted into films the most times.
There are several reasons why Batman would be worthy of such recognition, his impact on popular culture has been great; in the field of cinema the bat has grossed US$6.8 million at the box office.
As for the music, the theme of Neal Nefti for the 1960s television series won a Grammywithout forgetting the good compositions of Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer and Michael Giacchino.
He September 21stfans will be able to celebrate the Batman Day 2024as Warner Bros Discovery has prepared several special activities to commemorate many people’s favorite character.
To celebrate at home, the streaming platform Maxwill have a selection of Batman movies and series, including the new series to be released on September 19th with its first episode, it is about one of its villains, The Penguin.
