Literally, the days that separate us from the launch of the second season of Battlefield 2042 can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Yes, the succession of ” H-hour is imminent since “Maître d’Armes” arrives on August 30, and that’s what this update has in store for us! As the promotional video (available at the top of the article) puts it very well, a new card is appearing. Baptized “Echouement”, the latter transports the battlefield in a huge cargo ship stranded on the banks of the Panama Canal. Prepare for a frantic firefight, because a new Specialist will take part in the clashes. Armed with his static Vulcan minigun and able to resupply his allies, Charlie Crawford is a recruit you can count on.
Beyond a new map and a new Specialist, Battlefield 2042 promises us a war with even more weapons, vehicles — in particular two buggies, one fast and the other more manoeuvrable, and those gadgets : an AM40 carbine, a high-tech Avancys submachine gun, a submachine gun to the colossal charger PF51 et a stun grenade will therefore be added to the arsenal you already have. Last surprise, and not least: season 2 brings a new feature” Tasks “, which will allow you to unlock, within the All-Out Warfare mode, weapons intended for Battlefield Portal — a mode which, by the way, receives new Editor options. The first concerned are the illustrious M60E4 and M16A3, while others will join them over the updates.
