Soccer record champion Bayern Munich has extended the contract with Malik Tillman until 2026 and at the same time loaned the offensive player to the Dutch first division club PSV Eindhoven for one season. The Munich announced on Thursday.

The 21-year-old was loaned to the Scottish first division club Glasgow Rangers last season, and he scored twelve goals in 43 games for the runners-up.

“Malik Tillman has developed very well at his loan station in Glasgow. We are convinced of his great potential, which is why we have extended his contract until 2026,” said Jochen Sauer, director of youth development at FC Bayern: “He still needs match practice at the highest level to take his next steps.”

Tillman, a four-time national player for the USA and a former German U21 international, switched from Greuther Fürth to the youth department at Munich in 2015. So far he has played seven times (one goal) for the pros.
