BBC, ITV, CNN, ORF: How TV stations announced the Queen’s death – budget

“Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II is under medical observation following renewed concerns regarding her health,” Buckingham Palace said early Thursday followingnoon. Shortly therefollowing, the BBC began live reporting, presented by black-tie Huw Edwards. This hour-long special was then filled with archive footage, images of Aberdeen Airport and the entrance gate to the Balmoral Castle estate. The Queen’s death was then introduced on BBC One by Edwards with “This is BBC News from London”:
