BCCI announces India domestic for 2022-23 season

BCCI has released the domestic season schedule for the upcoming season. The season runs from the first week of September this year to March 2023. The season starts with the Duleep Trophy and ends with the Vizzy Trophy. Meanwhile, Irani Cup, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy will be held. (BCCI announces India domestic)

The Irani Cup runs from December 8 to 25. The competition is between North, Central, South, West, East and Northeast zones. The matches will be played in knockout format and will be played in first class format. Irani Cup from October 1 to 5. The match will be between Ranji Trophy winners and Best of India players. This will be followed by Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. 38 teams will participate in both the tournaments. Ranji followed. Then the competitions in different age groups for men.

The women’s season will begin on October 11 with the Senior T20 Trophy. The matches are played in T20 and ODI formats. Then the competitions in different age groups of women. After the Wizzy Trophy.

Kerala is in Group C in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Vijay Hazare and Ranji tournaments. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Maharashtra and Karnataka are in Group C. Teams like Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are in Group C in Vijay Hazare.
