A Beats today announced a partnership with the recently released game EA SPORTS FC 24, “successor” to FIFA. To promote it, a commercial was released, which includes scenes from another Beats ad featuring the Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who is a brand ambassador. The new video was made using the engine Frostbiteda Electronic Arts.
In addition to showing the player using a pair of headphones Beats Studio Pro, the commercial mixes the scenes with images of Haaland’s character in the game, including scoring a goal and even using the brand’s headphones. The idea is to show how the player associates himself with Beats even within the game.
As part of the partnership, anyone who plays EA SPORTS FC 24 until the November 1st will receive Founder status. This will give access to exclusive in-game rewards, such as a permanent Erling Haaland item in Ultimate Team mode, as well as a digital Beats Studio Pro (in-game) with a “Viking” theme, inspired by the player.
With Career mode — to be added to the game in December — it will also be possible to purchase virtual Beats headphones with the salaries received within the game to earn Personality Points and increase performance on the field — The Sims meets FIFA! The most interesting thing is that, as players advance, they will be able to become Beats ambassadors, receiving more pay and other benefits.
