Spring should be budding on the side of Beats. The Apple brand is indeed preparing the launch of Studio Buds +, in-ear headphones that recently appeared on Amazon, before quickly disappearing. But another product is clearly in the pipeline, it’s the Beats Studio Pro.
THE release candidate of iOS 16.5 and macOS 13.4 contain a reference to what would be a helmet this time. 9to5Mac has a bit more info, as well as a visual of the product, which is said to have been developed in partnership with British designer Samuel Ross, creator of fashion brand A-Cold-Wall.
The Studio Pro would have active noise cancellation, a Transparency mode and the custom spatial audio feature. It should also include a USB-C port… but no Apple chip, it would be a “homemade” Beats chip, like the one that equips the Studio Buds +. The headphones would be very similar in idea to the Studio3, a large over-ear headphones launched in 2017 and which Apple still sells at the rather exorbitant price of 400 €.
The existence of a new headset is in any case good news not only for Beats, which has confined itself in recent years to headphones alone, but also for users wishing to afford an “Apple” headset without having the budget. for AirPods Max. We still regret here the disappearance of the Solo Pro, with ANC more efficient than the Studio3 and sold much cheaper.
