The painting “The Most Charming and Attractive” is considered one of the most successful in Gerald Bezhanov’s career. Viewers of the USSR and all over the world showered compliments on the film crew, but not everyone realized that the film might not even be released on screens.
The fact is that during work, conflicts constantly arose between the director and Tatyana Vasilyeva. And the biggest quarrel happened over the artist’s hair. One day she came to filming having completely dyed her hair platinum, which shocked the director. Bezhanov was sure that the screen star did this specifically to spite him.
And the conflict eventually led to calling an ambulance. The director might not withstand the stress, and doctors diagnosed a heart attack. Bezhanov was recovering in the hospital, and Vasilyeva, in order to avoid other quarrels, hid her hair color with hats.
