Musician Hani Shenouda revealed his happiness that his music has reached the international level, as it is now being used in countries around the world.
He pointed out in media statements that his feeling of happiness does not prevent him from taking legal measures against the Liverpool club, which used the music of Adel Imam’s famous movie “The Leader” “Shams El Zanati” without obtaining a permit.
Hani said: “This is not the first time my work has been stolen. The melody of the song ‘Zahma, Donia Zahma’ was stolen by a Spanish team. We filed a case and won it, but we did not get our rights.”
He added: “Liverpool FC took part of the music of “Shams El Zanati” and repeated it more than once… and they did not obtain any permission,” stressing that a case had been filed against them in England, either to withdraw the music or to force them to pay our dues because they did not ask for our permission.”
