Well, well, if it’s not another Friday with another release on Apple Arcade… This time, one of the most famous board games in the world (known in Brazil as Detective) is coming virtually to Apple’s game streaming service.
Cluedo: Hasbro’s Mystery Game+ will make you impersonate a detective to unravel the mystery behind a murder that took place in the mansion. Everyone there is a suspect, so you must check the clues and find out who the culprit is, as well as in which room he carried out the murder and which weapon was used for it.
As in the original game, at the beginning of the game a suspect, a weapon and a room are removed from the deck. The rest of the cards are then distributed to the remaining players. In the mobile version, you also have a clue sheet and a hint system, so you can mark what you already know and don’t know about the killer.
You can play locally with multiple participants by creating a private match, or play online with people from all over the world. In addition, you can choose to play alone against the artificial intelligence, whether in online or offline matches.
Listed in “Editor’s Choice” as the most stylish game, there are ten unique original themes hand-crafted by artists, each with an added mystery. They are: Tudor Mansion, Vampire Castle, Adventure in Egypt, Hollywood, Killer Express, Sherlock, Pico Nevado, Tropical Mystery, Venetian Masquerade and Western.
Cluedo: Hasbro’s Mystery Game+ is available to play for all Apple Arcade subscribers or alternatively for $10 on the App Store.
Apple Arcade has over 200 titles in the library (free of or in-app purchases), which can be accessed by up to five members of a Family Sharing on iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs and/or Macs. Game service costs BRL 9.90 per month and it’s also part of the company’s Apple One subscription package.
