Emmanuel Tjeknavorian conducts splendidly “all men become brothers”

An extraordinary interpretation of Beethoven’s 9th symphony by Emmanuel Tjekanavorian took the audience to dizzying heights and abysmal lows, which ended in an almost sacred atmosphere at the end of the symphony.

After the splendid Grande finale of the setting of Schiller’s poem “Freude schön Götterfunken” there was a standing ovation and never-ending applause for the soloists Jeremias Fliedl, Jenni Hietala, Daria Sushkova, Katleho Mokhoabane and Jusung Gabriel Park, the camerata ars vivendi and the Wiener Singakademie under the direction of conductor Emmanuel Tjeknavorian.

Gerald Groß moderated the intro of the benefit matinee, thank you very much.

“All people become brothers” – a conciliatory image at the end of life for the hospice care of CS Caritas Socialis.

The real estate industry puts itself at the service of hospice support

With the enormous commitment of Michael Ehlmaier, Managing Director of EHL Immobilien, the CS benefit concert was supported for the third time this year with his business partners in favor of #mehrRaum for the best possible quality of life at the end of life. The managing director of EHL Immobilien put up around 70,000 euros himself and with his colleagues for the expansion of CS Kalksburg.

“Ever since I was 18, I have known the importance of support for the elderly. At that time, I made the decision that if I was able to help, I would do so,” says Micheal Ehlmaier, MD EHL Immobilien. “I am pleased that the network of the real estate industry is sticking together, especially in times like these, when it comes to supporting seriously ill and very old people!” Ehlmaier continued. The passionate violinist not only supports CS Caritas Socialis financially, but was also among the violinists in the ensemble this year.

Health councilor Hacker thanks CS for decades of cooperation

In an interview with Gerald Groß, City Councilor for Health Peter Hacker emphasized the many years of excellent cooperation. “Over the years, CS has developed a really good reputation for caring for the elderly and seriously ill. I would like to thank CS for this cooperation with us for the people of Vienna,” says Peter Hacker.

Art Helps longtime CS supporter of CS Caritas Socialis

“Anyone who was able to experience the last concerts with Emmanuel Tjeknavorian for Caritas Socialis will not be surprised at today’s concert program. After all, the close bond between the members of the ensemble and with him as a conductor personally, as well as in the musical spirit, is the central concern of all of us when creating and implementing music,” say Brigitte Gassler-Nägele and Peter Gassler, organizers of the musical project.

Mehrraum CS Kalksburg – hospice care oasis

The donations from this concert will benefit CS Kalksburg. A new, modern care center that takes into account the increased demands of very old or seriously ill people who need support. A care oasis will be created at the site for people with severe dementia who will receive hospice care to the last. Everything will be prepared for the new building by mid-summer.

CS Caritas Socialis – Quality of life from the beginning to the end of life

The CS Caritas Socialis was founded in 1919 by Hildegard Burjan as a spiritual community of sisters with the task of alleviating social hardship. Today, CS Caritas Socialis focuses on three areas: care and nursing (dementia), hospice culture (CS Hospice Rennweg) and the support and accompaniment of families and children. The basis for this is the maieutic understanding of leadership and the CS mission statement.

Some of the facilities are funded by the Vienna Social Fund (FSW). The CS Caritas Socialis Private Foundation exclusively pursues the non-profit purpose of ensuring the continued existence of the facilities of CS Caritas Socialis GmbH and supports and promotes facilities and projects beyond the funding of the Vienna Social Fund and the City of Vienna.
