Before Eid al-Adha, an urgent appeal from health to the Egyptians regarding Corona

Dr. Amjad Al-Haddad, an allergy and immunology consultant, said that there is a rise in the number of coronavirus infections around the world. But simple cases do not require hospitalization.

Al-Haddad stressed, in a phone call to the “Hazrat Al-Citizen” program broadcast on Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel on Tuesday evening, the need to be careful and follow precautionary and preventive measures to avoid infection with the Corona virus.

He pointed out that vaccinations do not give long-term protection, and therefore booster doses must be taken against the Corona virus. He explained that if Corona ends, it will end as a pandemic, not as a virus, and it will continue to exist.

He appealed to everyone who has been vaccinated for 6 months to take the booster dose. He added that the elderly can take a booster dose if 3 months have passed since the previous dose.

He continued, “European countries are ahead of us with a wave, they are now in the seventh wave of the Corona virus pandemic, while we are at the beginning of the sixth wave.”

He advised the need to wear a mask, especially with the reception of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, especially in public gatherings, parks and parks.

In the same context, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, appealed to the Egyptians to obtain the Corona vaccine, and those who received the vaccinations receive the booster dose.

And, “Abdel Ghaffar” continued, in a phone call to the “New Egypt” program broadcast on “ETC” satellite channel, “it is necessary to maintain the precautionary measures of wearing masks and social distancing.”

He added, “The epidemiological situation of the Corona virus is not alarming, but all citizens must receive vaccinations and booster doses.”
