They juggle children, work and finances around the clock: there are 270,000 single parents in Austria. Most of them are women, namely 223,600. Annemarie Kastinger knows only too well what it means to be responsible for everyone and everything. The psychotherapist in training under supervision was married for 15 years and is the mother of three daughters. The youngest was born with Down syndrome. After the divorce, she lived alone with her children for eight years.
