Public association “Belaya Rus” became a party.
This decision was made on March 18 at the founding congress of the party in Minsk, which was held in the concert hall “Minsk”.
Members of the new party are already raising the question of its funding.
Here is what the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, Candidate of Historical Sciences writes in his telegram channel Alexei Belyaev:
“The party charter has been approved,” Belyaev informs. – Let’s move on to the question of the party program. The project was published and widely discussed in society and the media. Although personally I have a question regarding the charter: the financing of the party. How will the determination of the amount, regularity and method of payment of membership fees be regulated? The statute does not fully clarify this issue.
And the question is not idle: funds are needed to conduct political activities. Foreign funding is prohibited, and rightly so. But if the party wants to be effective, money is needed.
And one more thing: the question of the party media. We need an effective website-youtube-channel-social networks. Not just formal, but working: with news, and with analytics, and with feed-back (feedback loop).”
