Belgian actor Philippe Jeusette has died

Philippe Jeusette died on Thursday, his parents announced Friday on the Facebook page dedicated to the actor, known in particular for his role in the series “Public Enemy”.

His funeral and scattering of ashes will take place next Tuesday, “in family intimacy“, write his parents. A gathering for his friends will be held in Brussels at the Théâtre de Poche the next day, Wednesday August 31.

According to Le Soir, the actor died of a heart attack. He was 56 years old.

Born in Liège in 1966, Philippe Jeusette cut his teeth at the National Higher Institute of Performing Arts (Insas) in Brussels, from which he graduated in 1987. He chained roles in the theater but also made a career in cinema , notably playing in several films by the Dardenne brothers (“Le silence de Lorna”, “Two days, one night”, “The Child” and “The unknown girl”) and by Joachim Lafosse (“The economy of the couple”) . He also camped, since 2015, the role of Patrick Stassart in the RTBF series “Public Enemy”.
