He recalls that “the Belgian position” on European issues is established within the DGE, the Directorate General Coordination and European Affairs, a place where representatives of the various Belgian governments tune their violins. According to Alexander De Croo, “months ago already, in this body, the governments together decided that Belgium would ask for significant modifications in relation to this law on the restoration of nature“.
