Some 300 Belgians were due to board a plane to return to Brussels this Thursday at the end of the day. After several return trips to the airport, the passengers are still stuck in Punta Cana, informs RTL.

Sarah Saucin, TUI spokesperson, confirmed the information and clarified that the problem was due to a plane breakdown. The company is still looking for a device to make the return trip. “At first we sent parts to repair the plane, unfortunately it didn’t work. We are now trying to find a plane to bring these people back as quickly as possible,” she told our colleagues.
