Belgium Sends Condolences to Russia After Deadly Attack at Crocus City Hall

Following the attack which took place at Crocus City Hall this Friday, Belgium presented its condolences to Russia. At least 40 people were killed during this attack claimed by ISIS.

“Our condolences go to the families of all the victims of gratuitous violence,” said Belgian diplomacy in a message posted on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Several other European diplomats and the UN condemned the attack and offered their condolences.

At least 40 people were killed and 115 injured on Friday in an armed attack followed by a massive fire around 8:15 p.m. in Moscow (5:30 p.m. BST) at Crocus City Hall, a concert hall located in Krasnogorsk, just outside the northwest exit of the Russian capital. Russian security forces said they were “searching” for the attackers. The attack was claimed by the Islamic State (IS).

According to Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, 115 people are hospitalized, including five children. Sixty adults and one minor among these injured are in serious condition.
