Belgium Weather Forecast: Rain-Snow Disturbance and Milder Air Predicted by IRM

Monday will be marked by the passage of a rain-snow disturbance from France, followed by slightly milder air, announces the IRM. The institute predicts the return of rain temporarily preceded by winter precipitation, with maximums of 2 to 6 degrees.

A new area of ​​sometimes temporarily winter precipitation will quickly invade Belgium through France. The rains may in fact be preceded by some snowfall, longer Ardennes. An accumulation of a few centimeters will be possible in the Ardennes, particularly in the morning.

In Lower and Middle Belgium, it will quickly become slushy snow followed by rain. In the followingnoon, we will only find (melting) snow in the Hautes Fagnes. Temperatures will rise slowly to reach 1 degree at the end of the day in the Hautes Fagnes and 4 to 6 degrees in the plains. The wind will be moderate to fairly strong from south to southeast with gusts of 50 to 60 km/h.
