Belize will require a visa from Venezuelans who want to enter its territory

The Ministry of Immigration indicated that they have noticed an increase in the transit of people from Venezuela, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

This Friday, January 28, the government of Belize approved a visa requirement for all those citizens from Venezuela, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

All citizens who wish to enter the aforementioned country and who are of the mentioned nationality, must carry a visa.

The Ministry of Immigration indicated that they have noticed an increase in the transit of people from Venezuela, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

“This follows the recent incident involving 37 migrants from Venezuela, Morocco and the Dominican Republic who were denied entry due to irregularities in their entry as tourists,” according to a publication by local outlet Breaking Belize News..
