On Friday, each team had until 8 pm ET to decide whether or not to offer contracts to each of its players eligible for salary arbitration. Those who did not receive a contract before that time automatically became free agents.
Those who did receive the offer will have until January 13 to negotiate a new agreement with their clubs. Otherwise, they will start the arbitration process.
