Daily Racing Form expert handicapper and analyst David Aragona has handicapped the ten-race card at Belmont Park for Saturday, November 7, projecting top finishers in each contest and naming Tap to Open his best bet in the featured ninth race, VSiN reported. The G2 Mother Goose Stakes serves as the day’s feature race for three-year-old fillies.
Race 9: G2 Mother Goose Stakes Picks
In the ninth race, the G2 Mother Goose Stakes, Aragona’s top pick is Tap to Open. His projected 1-2-3 finishers are Tap to Open, Answered Prayers, and Bodacious Bay. TAP TO OPEN was never in position to make much of an impact in the Cotillion last time; the outside draw gave her little chance to attain her preferred forward position, and she was also forced to go wide on both turns; actually stayed on pretty well to pass horses for fourth; had been a progressive sort leading up to that race, and should get back to more aggressive tactics here,
the analysis states.
Race 8: Dwyer Stakes Analysis
The eighth race, the Dwyer Stakes, is highlighted by the return of undefeated juvenile champion Ted Noffey. The Todd Pletcher superstar was the undefeated juvenile champion last year, but was forced to sit out the Triple Crown due to bone bruising.
Connections have been incredibly patient with the Into Mischief colt, who was last seen winning last year’s G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, Daily Racing Form reported. The projected morning line favorite for the Dwyer Stakes is Bravoro at +150.
Arda Aragona’s Other Race Picks
For the first race, Aragona projects Sports Hero, Kaz Oil Changer, and Wingfoot to finish 1-2-3. In the second race, his picks are Bourbon Madness, She’s Slick, and Market Perception. The third race is projected to be won by Apalta, followed by Sturdy and Dear Christmas. A link to view free DRF Past Performances for the Race of the Day is available here.
