Beloved Pediatrician Annaelena Contin Passes Away at 34
The Santorso hospital community is reeling from the sudden loss of Dr. Annaelena Contin, a dedicated pediatrician who touched countless lives with her compassion and skill. Tragically, the 34-year-old succumbed to an incurable illness, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt by her family, colleagues, and patients.
Contin, a native of Sant’Angelo di Piove di Sacco, brought warmth and kindness to her work. Her dedication to children’s health extended beyond the walls of the hospital. A few years ago, she had the opportunity to volunteer with CUAMM in Mozambique, an experience that deeply enriched her and remained a cherished memory.

Her parents, Paolo, the town pharmacist, and Paola, along with her three sisters, Letizia, Lorenza, and Maria Eugenia, will also mourn the loss of their beloved daughter and sister.
