We guess it’s kind of a joke, but according to Bend Studio (Days Gone) animator Robert Morrison, we might have an idea of who Xbox’s next CEO will be the day Phil Spencer decides to step down. And according to Morrison, the answer is… Morrison.
Out of the blue, he tweeted “Rumor: Robert Morrison to become Xbox’s new CEO”, while sharing a dapper image of himself. While Spencer will no doubt leave his position at some point, we think the replacement will likely come from the Xbox team or other parts of Microsoft rather than directly from a Sony-owned developer.
