At the end of the Teqball World Championships, the Extraordinary General Assembly of Presidents and Secretaries General of Teqball Confederations and Sports Federations was held on Sunday, November 27, 2022. During the work led by the president of the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ), Gábor Borsányi, there was talk of taking stock of the Championships and projecting the future of the discipline at the level of the different continents.

At the podium, Benin through the voice of the president of the Beninese Federation of Teqball (FéBéTaq) Vincent Francis Kpohihoun pleaded for the strengthening of the actions of FITEQ through the allocation of equipment, the training of Teqball actors, obtaining of subsidy. His request received a favorable response from the General Assembly with the imminent dispatch to Benin of experts for the training of Teqball coaches and referees.

It should be remembered that Benin was entered in the World Championships in the doubles category with the pair Guénolé Mèvo-Caleb Houndjo who could not pass the stage of the round of 16.

For this first international outing, the Beninese pair lacked experience in front of the formidable Moldovans and Czechs, very regular and present in the Top 20 of world Teqball.

It should be remembered that for these world championships in Nuremberg in Germany (from November 23 to 27, 2022), Africa was represented by Senegal, Gabon, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Magadascar and Benin.
