Benzema knocks down Celta Vigo in the penalty shootout match

Madrid – French striker Karim Benzema led Real Madrid to a 2-1 victory over its host Celta Vigo on Saturday in the thirtieth stage of the Spanish Football League.

Benzema scored the two winning goals for Real Madrid from two penalty kicks in the 18th and 69th minutes, and missed a third penalty kick… Nolito scored the only goal for Celta Vigo in the 54th minute.

Real Madrid raised its lead to 69 points, 12 points ahead of its closest rivals, Seville, and Celta Vigo’s balance stopped at 36 points in eleventh place.
