Berlin. The man is said to have sexually assaulted and then raped a woman in the U3 in February. He has now been temporarily arrested.
After the Berlin police were looking for a suspected sex offender who is said to have abused a woman on a subway, the emergency services arrested a suspect on February 29th. The crime occurred on February 9, 2024 on a train on the line U3 between midnight and 12:20 a.m.
The suspect left at the final stop Crooked wire the subway carriage and probably went across the station forecourt to the opposite bus on line 118 heading towards Wannsee S-Bahn station.
The suspect of the Sexualstraftat might be identified following a tip-off. It is a 33-year-old man who was temporarily arrested in Lichtenberg. The investigations by the Commissioner for Sexual Offenses are ongoing.
