According to Forbes magazine, Bernard Arnault (LVMH) is more than ever the richest man on the planet with a fortune approaching 210 billion dollars. He is well ahead of Elon Musk, boss of Tesla and new boss of Twitter who has to settle for 149.1 billion.

Classification Forbes gives the following classification:

1. Bernard Arnault ($208.2 billion)
2. Elon Musk ($149.1 billion)
3. Indian billionaire Gautam Adani (127.6 billion)
4. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos ($116.9 billion)
5. Oracle CEO Larry Ellison ($107.1 billion)

The domination of Bernard Arnault and Musk marks the end of an era: that of the reign of technological values. The courses of Meta and Apple never stop falling while LVMH has climbed 30% in one year.
