The sharpness and noise reduction sliders require precise setting of the values to achieve the best development result. Open the “Develop” module and hold down the “Alt” key. If you now move the “Sharpen” slider (a), the active photo (b) will be displayed in black and white so that you can better assess the result of the sharpening (c). It is best to select a zoom level > 100 percent. The sliders for “Radius”, “Details” and “Masking” can also be better adjusted in this way. You can use the same procedure with the sliders for “noise reduction” (d).
