If you feel any of these changes, you should evacuate to a safe place immediately, as heavy rain and thunder may occur soon.

Taking shelter from the rain under a tree is dangerous because lightning that strikes the tree can jump to people. If there is nowhere to evacuate to, squat down with your feet together and your head down, and cover your ears with both hands.
