According to a report by Zhongshi News Network, Chen Deyuan, an attending physician at the Department of Neurosurgery at E-Da Hospital, said that a man in his 30s who did not usually have the habit of measuring his blood pressure walked out of the bathroom in thin clothes after taking a hot bath at home during the recent cold snap. He had an unbearable headache, and later developed weakness in his right hand and right foot. When his family rushed to the side, they found that the man could not even speak clearly. After seeing this, they immediately sent him to the emergency room.
After examination, the hospital found that the man’s blood pressure had soared above 200 mm of mercury, and the burst blood vessel in his brain was a hemorrhagic stroke. He was eventually transferred to the intensive care unit for treatment and is still not out of danger.
For this reason, Chen Deyuan pointed out that low temperature or a large temperature difference environment will cause blood vessels to constrict. If blood pressure is not controlled well or does not drink enough water, the blood will become thicker, causing blood pressure to soar and increase the risk of stroke. He called on the public to try to avoid If you are in an environment with large temperature differences, you should also take measures to keep warm when going out.
