Schwan Cosmetics’ new hybrid formulation contains no less than 91% naturally-derived content (NOC) as well as skincare ingredients enriched with nourishing vitamins E and C.
Designed to glide smoothly during application, the brow pencil stroke Brow Friends Forever (BFF) is “easy to blend and correct”. According to Schwan Cosmetics, it allows users to effortlessly achieve flawless, natural-looking brows. Its clean, vegan, waterproof and sweat-resistant formula promises long-lasting results all day long.
“The pencil mechanism is designed to allow precise and easy application, while the formula combines natural oils, pure pigments and powders for easy blending and effortless brow work. A selection of structuring waxes and suitable fillers guarantees the precision of the line”, assures Schwan Cosmetics.
Custom colors on request
BFF was presented in preview during the last edition of MakeUp in Paris, last June, with six standard shades currently available to cover the full brow spectrum and suit different preferences, including a universal brown shade that matches all tones. However, Schwan Cosmetics will develop specific custom colors upon request.
Inspired by the Y2K aesthetic, the packaging design combines bright colors, shiny materials and pearlescent shades for a playful and nostalgic vibe. But all the decorations in the pack are of course customizable to stick to the identity of the brand.
Consumer test
In a pre-launch consumer test, 100% of participants were satisfied with the properties of the product and 97% confirmed that it provided long-lasting brow results. [1]
“BFF is responding to growing consumer demand for clean beauty,” says Elza Davida, Product Manager Brow chez Schwan Cosmetics. “We have noticed the limited availability of mechanical eyebrow pencils with a high content of natural origin ingredients, which meet these criteria. With BFF, we wanted to fill this gap by offering a durable and high-performance eyebrow pencil, with clean formulas. This is another step forward in our journey because as the liner leader we refuse to compromise on performance”.
At MakeUp in Paris, Schwan Cosmetics also presented a reworked version of its makeup pencils made from Sulapac’s sustainable and biodegradable biomaterials.
