AS usual, the songs released by BiancaDimas are written and produced by the couple Dimas Wibisana and Bianca Nelwan, based on their love story. However, their musical style this time is a bit different from their previous singles. Although they have worked with other artists, they have never ventured into this particular style of music before.
“We just wanted to make a song about longing that also has a danceable rhythm,” said Dimas.
This Latin dance song tells the story of someone who misses their partner who is separated by distance.
“We wrote this song during the Covid-19 quarantine, after not seeing our kids for two weeks—it was a huge longing,” Bianca explains.
Although inspired by a parent’s longing for their child, the lyrics are very universal and also suitable for those who miss their partner, family, or friends.
The unique repetition of lyrics is the strength of this song, combined with cheerful tones and sweet music, pleasing to the listener and quickly calming a longing heart.

“We wrote this song when we were feeling very nostalgic. But the mood is not sad, because we know we will meet again soon. It’s very romantic,” said Dimas.
Missing Merindu Serindu-rindu is the precursor to BiancaDimas’ second album titled Merangkai Selamanya.
After Rindu Merindu Serindu-rindunya, there will be one single released every month leading up to the album release in October.
BiancaDimas’ last two singles, Kalimat Cinta and Manusia Paling Menyemiskan successfully entered the Puncak Klasemen, Indo Viral 50, and Naik Daun charts on Spotify.
Bianca hopes that Missing Longing for Longing will also enter the charts so that it can accompany more people who are missing someone. (Z-1)
