For this reason, ALOM, together with the Euroline driving school, encouraged immigrant women to deepen their knowledge of cycling or to learn cycling in the first place. ALOM Managing Director Margit Lindorfer: “In some countries, this environmentally friendly, healthy and inexpensive form of mobility is almost unknown, and girls in particular are often not given the opportunity to learn how to do it.”
In a workshop, the course participants were able to learn in theory and practice and at their own pace how to get on and off correctly, start and stop or take bends, avoid obstacles and behave correctly in traffic.
